WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?
Psychotherapy is the use of psychological methods, particularly when based on regular personal interaction, to help a person change and overcome problems in desired ways. Psychotherapy aims to improve an individual's well-being and mental health, to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills.

• Finding yourself more aggressive or self-destructive
• Finding yourself isolated from friends
• Having problems holding down a job

• Experienced past abuse (sexual or physical)
• Impact of going through a divorce
• Current or previous violence in a partner relationship
• Experienced a life-threatening event
• Being a victim of a crime
• Inability to cope
• Problems concentrating
• Suicidal thoughts
• Other psychiatric related issues/diagnosis
